Can one practitioner work across two different locations?

Yes. Each person can have different hours and schedules at each site, and every booking records which location the appointment belongs to.

What if I do not want clients picking from a list of names?

You stay in control of that. When client staff selection is turned off, the system assigns an eligible practitioner automatically using your routing rules and preferred ranking.

Are multi-staff and multi-location the same thing on the subscription?

They are separate features but built to work together. More staff benefits from smart routing. More locations benefits from isolated hours and per-site setup. Most growing clinics end up using both.
